WordPress website या blog को beautiful और attractive बनाने में WordPress theme की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका होती है। WordPress theme website का पूरा design, font style, colors, widget locations, page layouts, blog posts and blog archives के लिए styles इत्यादि को provide करता है। आज मैं इस पोस्ट में बात करने वाला हूँ : WordPress theme install kaise karte hai ?


यदि आपको अपने WordPress website का design पसंद नहीं है तो simply एक अच्छा से theme का चुनाव कीजिये और उसको install and activate कर दीजिये। WordPress theme install करने के बहुत से तरीके है परंतु मैं आपको तीन सबसे आसान तरीका बताऊंगा जिससे कि आप WordpPress theme को change कर सकते है।

शुरुवात में अपने web hosting पर WordPress install करने के बाद by default लगभग 20 theme पहले से ही install होते है। परंतु ऐसे theme का design उतना अच्छा नहीं होता है। अगर आप अपने मन पसंद का अच्छा से beautiful wordpress theme install करना चाहते है तो आगे इस पोस्ट को पढ़ते रहे।

मैं WordPress theme install करने के लिए तीन तरीके बताने जा रहा हूँ।


1st Method : WordPress theme directory से choose करके WordPress theme install करना


Notes : New theme को अपने वेबसाइट में activate करने से पहले अपने WordPress theme का backup जरूर रख ले। इसके लिए यह पोस्ट पढ़े : Customize WordPress theme ka backup kaise le ?


Step 1 : अपने WordPress dashboard पर जाकर Appearance >> Themes पर क्लिक करें।

Step 2 : Add New पर क्लिक करे।

Step 3 : अब जो page open होगा उसमें Feature, Popular, Latest WordPress theme का option होगा। इससे WordPress themes को choose कर सकते है। इस page में Feature Filter का भी ऑप्शन होगा। Feature Filter पर क्लिक करें और आपको जिस तरह का theme चाहिये उसके हिसाब से subject, features, layout के tags में tick कर Apply Filters पर क्लिक कर दे।

Step 4 : Apply Filters पर क्लिक करते है next page पर theme का list open होगा जाएगा। किसी भी theme पर mouse का cursor ले जाने पर दो ऑप्शन show होंगे Install और Preview का। Preview पर क्लिक करके आप यह तय कर ले कि आपको कौन-से theme पसंद है। जिस theme को अपने site में लगाना है, उस पर mouse का cursor ले जाकर Install बटन पर क्लिक करे।

Step 5 : WordPress theme install करने के बाद Activate बटन पर क्लिक कर दे।

अब आप अपने वेबसाइट को open करें। आप देखेगे कि ब्लॉग या वेबसाइट का design change हो गया होगा।


2nd Method : Themes के search box से WordPress theme को search कर install करें


Step 1 :  Appearance >> Themes >> Add New पर क्लिक करे।


Step 2 : अगर आपको theme का नाम पहले से ही पता है तो सीधे search box में theme का नाम लिखें और search करें। अगर यह theme WordPress theme directory में मौजूद होगा तो वह स्क्रीन पर show करेगा।


उसके बाद theme को install करके Activate कर लेना है।

3rd Method : WordPress dashboard से upload करके WordPress Theme Install करना


1st और 2nd method के द्वारा आप सिर्फ उन free wordpress theme install कर सकते है जो कि WordPress.org theme’s directory में मौजूद होते है। लेकिन अगर आपको premium WordPress theme install करना है तो यह जो मैं तीसरा तरीका बताने वाला हूँ, काम में आएगा।


मैं मानकर चलता हूँ कि आपके पास premium theme का .zip file आपके computer में मौजूद है।


Step 1 : अपने WordPress dashboard से Appearance >> Themes पर क्लिक करें।


Step 2 : Add New पर क्लिक करें।


Step 3 : अगले पेज पर सबसे ऊपर Upload Theme बटन पर क्लिक करें।

Step 4 : अब आपको theme का zip file choose करने के लिए कहा जाएगा। Choose file पर क्लिक कर download किये हुए zip file को अपने कंप्यूटर से select करे और Install Now पर क्लिक करें।

Step 5 : WordPress theme install हो जाने के बाद आपको installation का एक successful message show होगा। अब lastly Activate बटन पर क्लिक करे।

बस हो गया अब आपके साइट में नया theme लग चुका है। तो ये तीन बहुत ही आसान से तरीका है जिससे WordPress theme install कर सकते है। WordPress theme install kaise karte hai से सबंधित कोई भी question हो तो comment करें।
